RAINBOW BRIDGE MEMORIUM
It’s been almost 12 months since Nancy (white and black girl greyhound) and I said a tearful goodbye to the gorgeous big boy Ronnie.
All greyhounds are amazing and so special in their individual ways and Ronnie was no exception. A gentle giant, easy to walk, great with people, children and respectful of other dogs.
He came to me from foster care by Sally in Droitwich and was a loving leaner from the get go!
He was almost 14 and the old back legs were getting very wobbly and walking out was becoming more of a struggle, often a sign that it’s a short matter of time before the fateful call has to be made. After all it’s always about quality of life for the hound and Ronnie certainly made the most of the 7 years he lived with me, first with Bella and then the newer girl in his life Nancy.
Thank you big Ron for your love and friendship, you left a big hole in our lives.
Nancy has settled down ok and as she’s on the smaller side, is easy to take away and she’s already charmed her way around some very classy hotels around the Cotswolds.
