Sponsor a greyhound in our care

Sponsorship is a great way to help Hall Green Greyhound Trust if you can’t adopt a dog yourself.
Sponsorship also makes a great gift for an animal lover in your life.

Our sponsorship starts from as little as £3 per month per hound (£36 per year).

You can, of course, give more if you wish.

Our sponsor dogs all have some sort of additional needs. These can be medical, behavioural, or both. Sponsorship enables these dogs to live in loving homes while receiving the help that they need. The Trust assists with vet bills, advice from behaviourists, and other treatments.

Sponsorship has recently also helped with the other dogs we now have in our care in temporary Foster until they find their forever home, as returned greyhounds are no longer able to be returned to kennels.

MEET OUR SPONSOR GREYHOUNDS

GANDALF

Gandalf joined Greyhound Trust Hall Green when he retired in July 2019, at the age of 5. He has found it difficult ti adapt to life after racing and finds other dogs very stressful to cope with. After a few false starts, he moved in with one of our volunteers, where he is now fostered for life. He is working daily on overcoming his fears, with the help of his new canine companions. He would love to spend your foster money on his favourite treats, his specialist kibble for his tea as well as his Adaptil collars that help him stay calm.

DREAM

Dream was born on the 1st July 2019. She arrived at Hall Green 3 years ago after she was retired without fully racing because she used to turn in the traps.

We subsequently established that Dream had a number of complications which required some extra care and attention and we made the decision it was best to get her out of kennel environment and in to a long term foster.

Dream enjoys life and is made comfortable with specialist diet and medication to control pain and discomfort

Sponsorship is taken with a monthly Standing Order and can be cancelled at anytime (minimum one month payment). Please download the required sponsorship form, print, fill it in (choose the dog you wish to sponsor – their profiles are above), sign and return to the address listed on the form and we’ll take care of the rest.
