Can you give this greyhound a home?

We are looking for a new home for Prada, sadly her current owner is not able to walk her due to his own illness which is steadily deteriorating and so we would like to help him by getting this girl in to a new home where she can get the care he wants her to have.

Prada is a beautiful dark brown brindle girl who is aged 7.  She currently lives with two children a 14 year old girl and a 7month year old boy who she gets on very well with. 

She can be a lazy girl when she wants to be, spending time upside down on her bed or sofa or just taking time out in the garden.  However she also likes to have some play time and can be very active playing with her toys. 

Prada is such a loving greyhound and lives for a good cuddle, a very sweet and loyal dog. She has never shown an ounce of aggression to any of the family including the new born baby. Even likes letting her owners give a a clean and a bath.

She would possibly be best as an only pet as she spent a short while with another greyhound who was a bit more active and it didn’t suit her quiet personality 

In the home:  She can go up and down the stairs but she tends to sleep on her dog bed in the living room during the night.  She will go on the sofa but only when she is asked, she does understand no when it comes to furniture 

She will let you know when she wants to go out for toileting as she will stand by the door 

Toys/play: She does love to play with her toys but she has never been protective over them and will happily share them with those willing to play with her 

Walks: She loves going on walks morning and night and she loves the sound of the lead, indicating it’s time to go out.  She does not pull and will walk by your side and never needed the use of a harness. 

Car: She is a great traveller in the car and she has been in this for a long distance journey with no trouble at all.

Dogs: It appears other dogs do not phase her and she will walk straight past with a little glance at them. 

Cats:  She has seen cats out on a walk and does show a minor reaction of standing and staring so we would have to say or this homing its no cats as we don’t have the security of kennels for her to come back to if it does not work out. 

Health:  She is fully vaccinated and currently registered with a vet. Since being homed in X she has not had any medical problems and she appears very healthy.
