Omaha
Omaha has ended up being one of our longer stayers, but most of that isn’t his fault! He wagged his tail so much he ended up needing an operation on it and then he had to recuperate in foster care whilst it healed up.
He had a brief spell in a home, but it wasn’t quite right for him, so now he is back with us, hoping that we can find him the perfect place to rest, relax and retire for good.
Omaha is house trained, able to be left for a short time (although he was with a female greyhound), he loves his food - we are told he will eat anything! - and is super affectionate.
He has mastered the stairs and listens and learns, fitting into a routine well. This fab boy was on his own in foster, but shares a kennel with a girl and when he was in a home.
There are a lot of positives for Omaha, but we are keen to find him exactly the right home this time round. We think that he will be best with adults or older children, he might be a bit too much for smaller children.
Whilst Omaha is gradually learning about other dogs and life outside kennels, he can at times be a bit keen when seeing other breeds, so he needs someone who can help him learn and who is willing to continue his training.
Omaha is a smart dog, who loves a routine, who travels well and who is just looking for the right person to love him. He can at times be on the strong side, but we believe that he will this will lessen as he bonds with his owner and learns how to relax and walk nicely with them.
If you think that you can offer Omaha the home he needs, please call us on 0121 426 4810 or contact us to make an appointment to visit our kennels.
