Can you give this greyhound a home?

Talk dark and handsome, 5 year old Johnny is the Milk Tray Man of the greyhound world.

Johnny hasn’t been with us for long but has already had a trip out to the local park and to the home of one of our volunteers. All new experiences for him and he did brilliantly.

Johnny was reported as being very calm in the house and very well mannered, resisting the temptation to help himself to our volunteer’s lunch and taking treats very gently when offered. Johnny was also very affectionate and enjoyed resting his head on our volunteers lap to have his ears stroked - aww!

At the park Johnny walked nicely on the lead, preferring to walk at a faster pace but without pulling. Johnny coped well when meeting other breeds of dog for the first time and with a bit more practice we think he’ll be just fine. The same couldn’t be said for the local squirrel population - Johnny was very excited to learn about squirrels!

Johnny is a confident, friendly and affectionate boy, we can’t guarantee he’ll bring you chocolates but he’ll definitely steal your heart!
