Another happy homing story
We love hearing from you about how your re-homed hounds are getting on and what they’ve been getting up to in their retirement.

ozzy
A little update on Ozzy.
He settled in straight away like it was his home since forever. I introduced him gradually to the noises of dishwasher, extractor fan etc but he wasn't bothered at all.
I've put away washing for later and was stressing a lot about using washing machine as he wasn't comfortable on his cat test. Turned out he wasn't bothered at all too. Now I hoover around him and he won't even get up. He loves his food and zoomies around trampoline.
He doesn't like playing with rubber toys.
He plays with ball only outside but never inside don't know why. He like soft toys but due to us having a cat I can't really give them to him.
He is okay with the cat. Some days he is scared of him, some days he is curious but most of the time he ignores and avoids him.
He likes the company of big dogs. He is not too keen on walks when it's dark. He barks at delivery guys. Loves his sleep.
He is scared to death with manholes and tactile paving. He learned that if you step on manhole it makes rattling noise.
I'm surprised that he settled in almost immediately and I regret I didn't adopt earlier. Thank you Greyhound Trust Hall Green.
