RAINBOW BRIDGE
in memoriam
fonzie
Last week, we had to say goodbye to Fonzie after a brief but devastating illness.
He was a wonderful dog, full of character and so incredibly friendly and affectionate.
He loved long walks – even when we’d been walking for miles he’d be there at the front, leading the way, always eager to explore new areas or lead us back to places where we’d seen a cat weeks before. He loved being fussed, always asking for more. He loved meeting new people.
We were only able to spend a little less than 3 years with him, but in that time Fonzie truly became our world. He cheered us up when we were feeling down, he helped keep us fit and he gave us a sense of structure and normality as 2020 turned the rest of the world on its head. Our sofa, our house, and our lives all feel empty without him.
To Fonzie, our little prince: we miss you terribly, but we’re sure you’re having an amazing time chasing cats around on the other side of the rainbow bridge. Bringing you into our lives was the best decision we ever made. We loved you so much, and we’ll never forget you. We hope that one day we’ll meet again.
